One of the Ten Famous
Arhats (Top Temple Guards) in Shaolin Temple
to hold the post of the Chief Coach of the
Shaolin martial arts monk group, Guo Song
began learning martial arts at the age of
six and was accepted into the Shaolin Temple
at the age of thirteen.
Under Master Shi Yong Ding, he studied
Shaolin Kung Fu and under Master Shi Sheng
Ci, he studied Buddhism. Guo Song has been
trained in martial arts for over 20 years
and has mastered many different martial arts
styles, including Shaolin boxing and
weaponry. He has been invited to visit over
twenty foreign countries such as Malaysia,
Japan, Korea, America and Germany to perform
martial arts for cultural exchange.

Francisco proclaimed May 12th as “Master
Guo Song” day in San Francisco

Master
Shi Yan Chan - Brother of
Master Shi Guo Song.
He
is now the school president.
In 1992, he was trained
traditional Shaolin boxing in Shaolin Martial Monk
Group. In 1994, he was recognized as one disciple of
abbot Shi Yongxin, and given religious name Shi Yanchan.
In 1996, he served as the chief coach in Shaolin Temple
Martial Arts School. In 2004, he won the first place in
long weapon& boxing of World Traditional Kung Fu
Championships.
He has been invited many times as the representative of
Shaolin Martial Monk Group for Kung Fu exchange to Hong
Kong, Japan, Korea, Germany, England, Italy, places in
Europe and America and so on. During the past years of
kung Fu teaching and management with Master Shi Guosong,
he has been devoting himself to the Kung Fu education.
